The Professional Tour Guide Training Program

The quality of a visitor’s experience in Washington, DC depends on the interpretation of the city through local guides and hosts. This exciting 35-hour field-based programme prepares individuals with special skills needed for a full range of tour guiding. Course focuses on developing skills in site interpretation, site logistics, group presentation and group management.
At the end of the 35 hr. programme, participants will learn:
